Ithaca

Catchy hooks, crystal-clear vocals, and power pop rhythms summerize this brand new four-piece from San Diego. Only a year in existence, the guys from Ithaca met after relocating from Chicago, New Jersey, Palo Alto, and Arizona. They are not from the college town in New York nor is their band named after it. Instead, the band chose their name from Homer's Odyssey.

With a drummer on lead vocals, a pianist on guitar, a guitarist on bass, and a drumline geek playing set, Ithaca has had their simple but punchy melodic rock featured on Herophont Radio (www.herophont.com), and has played all over San Diego at the 710 Beach Club, Lestat's, The Jumping Turtle, Dream Street, The Rhythm Lounge, UCSD, Second Wind, and San Diego Sports Club.
